The Shawshank Redemption Movie Review

The Shawshank Redemption movie is a remake of an English movie called The Shawshank Chain. Andy Dufresne (Timothy Robbins) is once again sentenced to two consecutive life sentences without the parole allowed. But just when he thinks that he might be set free, The Shawshank Unit suddenly puts him in prison. The warden tells him that he is to serve out his sentence alone, without any privileges. But when the prison guards discover that Andy is still alive, The Shawshank Redemption becomes a rage among the inmates of the prison and the movie becomes a kind of revolution.

The Shawshank Redemption is based on real events. Andy Dufresne was actually in the army. He was given an honorable discharge when he killed an armed robber. The robbers escaped because one of them had impersonated an officer and was allowed to live inside the prison. Two other prisoners were also kept in the same prison as Andy and one of them became so friendly with him that he offered to help him escape from the prison if only he would tell the prison guards that Andy was dead.

But instead of telling the whole story to the guard, Andy decided to kill him instead. The Shawshank Redemption begins with the story of how Andy met his deceased friend Red. The two of them escaped from the prison together and then spend the next twenty-two years chained in the underground prison, never knowing how they would get out. The two of them are constantly trying to find out the truth about their imprisonment, but they still have no idea where they are or when they will ever be free. The main storyline is about Andy Dufresne’s quest for closure.

The Shawshank Redemption Movie Review

The Shawshank Redemption was made by Wes Ball, one of the leading actors from the film industry. The story is based on historical accounts about American prisoners of war who were brutally abused while incarcerated. The film also follows the life of Andy Dufresne, who serves a longer sentence than the others, but is still shown as an honorable person by the end of the movie. The Shawshank Redemption is both an action-packed story and a coming of age story about a boy growing up in a small rural town.

The film shows Andy as a well-intentioned man who just wants to see his family and friends again after spending twenty-two years in prison. He has a son called Nick who also spends time in prison and his relationship with his best friend, Jake, is the central theme of the story. The two boys become partners in crime after accidentally killing a guardsman in an argument over a girl. The pair of them become known as the Outcasts, thrown into the deep and dangerous world of prison life.

The movie ends with a series of events that reveal how Andy and the other Outcasts escape from the prison and continue their pursuit of freedom. The Shawshank Redemption movie is extremely graphic and includes strong language and violence. The film has also received a lot of criticism from those who believe it displays gratuitous gun violence.

The Shawshank Redemption holds many interesting and thought provoking scenes between the main characters.
